Tiffany Manning

MSW, LCSW (211607)

My name is Tiffany and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my master’s degree from California State University Sacramento. I have conducted both individual and group counseling in non-profit organizations, specifically with tweens/teens (ages 10-18) and young adults (ages 19-25) who have been in foster care and who have experienced abuse, neglect and trauma.

My Approach

I typically utilize Choice Theory and Narrative Therapy concepts in my work in building relationships with clients. I focus specifically on the client-therapist relationship to help individuals overcome their reasons for seeking therapy. My special interests include teen/adolescent therapy, young adults, caregiver/child communication, sexual abuse, physical abuse, adverse childhood experiences, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, family conflict, low self-esteem, PTSD/trauma, life transitions, and the LGBTQI population. I am EMDR trained and have trainings in DBT, TF-CBT, Choice Theory, Narrative Therapy, Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TRBI) and Strengths-Based Therapy. I have been dedicated to the helping field since 2004 and hope to offer a judgment free and safe therapeutic environment.
